I am Associate Professor of Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 2011. I received my B.A. in Economics in 1994 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, a MSc. in European Economics from Institute Ortega y Gasset, and I hold a PhD in Quantitative Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2003. My basic research fields are the role of transport infrastructure on aggregate productivity and efficiency, development and growth, innovation and spatial economics, along with quantitative methods. Some of my articles have been published in international journals and I have participated in numerous research projects financed by Ministries and Public Institutions.
